I loathe plastic Easter Eggs.
You stock up on dozens for Easter, fill 'em, hide 'em, find 'em all over your house, and have to store them for next year.
So this year I decided NO MORE and came up with a fun way to use half an egg. Then you have an excuse to throw away the other half since you can't use it anymore!
The possibilities are endless. I decided on a flower for my girls room.
1. Find a background. I used a piece of thick board, but you can use cardboard, thin board, etc. etc. Paint the background to your liking.
2. Sort your eggs and find the colors you want. Keep the smaller half of each egg and throw the larger half away. (Or, you can use the larger half, there are no rules, but I found the smaller half was just right)
3. Arrange your egg pieces in the pattern you want.
4. Hot glue one egg at a time around the rim and immediately place it back on your background, pressing firmly.
You can add glitter, and other findings to your picture. Make it your own!
